26). Bedtime Reading   Fort Lincoln State Park, North Dakota (October 2001)

Every night, I hop in the back of my truck, tack up my homemade curtains, read my AAA TourBooks and maps, and plan my trip for the next day.  I usually finish off the day by reading some American history, like this book on the Oregon Trail.  Then I fall asleep to the sound of chirping crickets -- or maybe the hum of an RV generator.
