Julie and I met in 1983 in the Colorado Rockies when we worked on a trail crew with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and we've kept in touch ever since. Always committed to noble causes, Julie now works with Equal Exchange, a company which helps third-world coffee growers. She showed me around Boston for a few days and, although we didn't build any trails or drink any coffee, we still had a great time.
